SERVPRO Industries, Inc. is a national franchise company.  SERVPRO offers a full range of cleaning and restoration services to include residential cleaning such as carpet, upholstery and drapery cleaning; commercial cleaning such as hard floor care, commercial carpets and janitorial services; restoration services such as fire damage restorations, water damage restorations, deodorization and duct cleaning.

Every customer is of utmost importance to us. All Associates should treat customers with respect and a valued individual, at all times.  When a customer has a problem with our services, we need to solve the problem as completely and quickly as possible.  At no time should a customer be treated in any manner that would injure the company-customer relationship.  The success of our company depends on excellent customer service and each Associate is critical in providing that level of service.

 

ABOUT THE OFFICERS

In 2000, SERVPRO of Collier County began.

Ken Smith graduated from high school in Arlington Texas in 1993.  He worked as a salesperson in a local hardware store while attending high school and junior college. Ken knew he was going to be successful, however he also knew working for someone else could not be his destiny. 

Brandi Smith graduated that same year in Mansfield Texas.  The couple met shortly after graduation.  Brandi attended junior college while working part time in retail, as well as cleaning homes on the weekends.

Within the next several years, the couple married, worked and created a life for themselves in Arlington, not far from Ken’s own parents.  Ken left the hardware store and found a greater fulfillment managing pawn shops throughout the Dallas/Ft Worth area. He really enjoyed this and began to dream of owning his own Pawn Shop one day.  Brandi worked for a major law firm as a receptionist and later moved on to a mortgage company assisting in loan processing. The couple discussed many ideas as to what they wanted out of life.

In the winter of 2000, the couple vacationed with family in Naples, Florida. Ken had visited Naples often as a child.  Brandi fell in love with the town and began discussing her dream of raising a family in an area much like Naples.  Ken and Brandi both felt they were ready to begin looking at options of owning their own business. Many ideas were discussed from coffee shops, flower shops, hardware stores, and even pawnshops.  They met with a family friend who told them about SERVPRO.  The plan evolved into selling everything they owned in Arlington Texas and with the help of Ken’s parents, Ken and Carol Smith, the couple packed up and headed south to Naples.

By August of 2000, in the garage of the couple’s rented home, the business began.  By day, Ken sold his name and changed hats as the jobs began to come in. Later he added one, then two employees to assist in getting the work completed. Brandi worked at a law firm to continue to bring money in and later joined her husband to assist in fire clean ups, paper work and even some marketing. As the workload increased, the visions began to change. The company purchased SERVPRO of Ft Myers South in 2004.  As the company continued to grow, phenomenal Associates were added to the staff. The success of the company has developed into what you can see today.

Ken persists to take the initiative to educate himself extensively in the field of Fire, Mold and Water Damage Restoration. He has obtained many certifications to diversify the business and recently has added Contractor to his resume.  Brandi currently works from her home office assisting with payables, insurance matters and targets to improve inner systems relating to technology and administrative tasks. The couple’s vision continues to transform now involves many more Associates that are exceptional. The Success of the Company has no end!
